Teolupus provided expert support for the struggling ERP project.
Our management consulting team has provided professional solutions to the problem of “unfinished ERP projects,” which is frequently encountered in the digitalization journey of the manufacturing sector.
A manufacturing company client of ours, which had decided to switch from its existing ERP infrastructure to another ERP software offering higher standards on the production side, encountered a serious impasse during the implementation process. Despite the significant man-days spent and all the effort put in by the partner company working on the installation, the targeted go-live could not be achieved even after two attempts.
Current Situation Analysis
At this critical stage, when the project had reached a standstill and teams were experiencing a loss of motivation, our expert team stepped in and scrutinized the process from both a technical and managerial perspective. As a first step, a “Current Status Analysis” was conducted, reporting on sub-topics such as why the project had stalled, which processes were poorly designed, which processes were incorrectly designed, and inconsistencies in the data sets.
New Process Design and Roadmap
Following the Current Situation Analysis, a “New Process Design and Roadmap Report” was prepared to dispel the clouds of uncertainty facing the company. This report is not only a technical document but also serves as an optional guide outlining every step, priority, and risk management plan our client must take in their journey to transition to the new ERP system.
Success in Strategic Guidance
We rescued our client’s ERP migration project from a “dead end” by providing them with a concrete and implementable plan. We successfully concluded our consulting process with the delivery of the New Process Design and Roadmap Report.
With our analysis and proposed solutions, our client can now more clearly identify where mistakes were made, what shortcomings need to be addressed, and how to achieve their go-live goals. For us, simply implementing a project technically is not enough; the real value lies in giving stalled processes a strategic vision and a new direction.
Following this work, our client decided to continue working with Teolupus as their project management consultant for the ERP migration process.
