The control environment is the fundamental component of the internal control system.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Control Environment Principles<\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When implementing the control environment, institutions consider the following principles and the focal points related to these principles. These principles are briefly mentioned below.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Principle 1: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Ethical Values \u200b\u200band Integrity: The organization* is committed to honesty and ethical values.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Principle 2: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Oversight Responsibility of the Board of Directors: The Board of Directors shall demonstrate independence from management and exercise oversight of the development and performance of internal control.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Principle 3:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0Establishing Structure Authority and Responsibilities:\u00a0Management, under the supervision of the board of directors, establishes structures, reporting lines, and appropriate authority and responsibilities that are appropriate to the objectives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Principle 4: <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Commitment to Competency:\u00a0The organization* demonstrates its commitment to attracting, developing, and retaining competent individuals toward its goals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Principle 5:<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Accountability:\u00a0The organization* holds individuals accountable for their internal control responsibilities, aligning with its objectives.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>*Organization:<\/strong> In the context of the Framework, when defining the principles, the word \u201corganization\u201d includes the board of directors, management, and other personnel.
